Broken ankle - birthday ideas for 12yo boy

My 12yo son has broken his ankle and has to wear a walking boot for the next month 😫 It's his birthday soon and all his previous gift ideas were for things related to outdoor activities. Now I don't really know what to do!
I will get the sporty stuff (football, sailing experience etc) for him, but I'd like him to have something on the day that will be significant/fun too.
He loves his phone and playing games on our PC. He loves aeroplanes and cars. He likes fidgety things.
He's not a great reader (dyslexic) but he likes stories on CDs, he loves all music but doesn't play an instrument.
He'd like a mum that was better informed on the latest brands of cool clothing and gadgets!
Budget- probably max £150-200.
Anyone else had a broken limb scupper their shopping plans?! All ideas welcome 😊

Really good headphones
Audible subscribtion (not sure how big their catalogue for teen books is)

Get him headphones Hines and a really cool hoodie. What brand is he into?

Escape room? Would require a little moving around but not a huge amount or at pace

Take him somewhere to sit on his bum!
Cinema
Football or other sport
Theatre show.

If he doesn't play an instrument is now a good time to learn guitar?

Ooh, lots of fab ideas! Thanks :)
Good call on cinema. The next Guardians of the Galaxy will be out then.
Headphones could be good too. Ours are a bit flaky! I'll look up Hines.
I wonder if there's a good lego kit of a plane? It's been ages since I looked.
He's into the usual sports clothes. Only ventured as far as nike and adidas so far.

If he enjoys gaming, you can book gaming parties in some areas now. We have an arcade near us with retro consoles and they rent the premises out for private parties.

Dd did very similar just before her 12th birthday in September. On the day we took her to a cat cafe - she loves cats. Other activity ideas would be escape room, virtual reality, maybe crazy golf or cinema with friends?

Gift wise I think I'd still get stuff because he can use it when he's better? Better than not having it? Is there a game he'd like for computer? Or new headphones or something.

Boxbollen is sporty and fun and doesn't require too much moving around!
