It reminds me of one of the villain’s houses in the Despicable Me films…

I really like it. I showed it to DH and he says we need to take turns using the office on the top floor. Imagine WFH with that view.

What is a fur room?? Very odd house

Furs are kept in storage at a suitable temperature when not being worn, so someone living there would not be animal lover, or would come from somewhere cold, or both.
Harrods used to store furs for customers I seem to recall.

Well I was seriously consdiering it. Park on one side for the dog, if he got bored of the grounds. Karl Marx on the other side.

But hang on - where's the bloody garage??? Well, that's just not on if there's no garage....

Garaging for four cars.

Better keep doing the lottery.

There’s a security room with no windows on the top floor!

Looks like a municipal leisure centre but it is a good location.

I saw this house on a show. It was an estate agent show, where they were showing million pound houses to potential clients.

I remember vaguely, they had the assistant of a potential Russian? Buyer have a look at it and FaceTime him.

Funnily enough I used to live in a flat not too far from there. I paid 250k for it, there are normal shops and a nice pub near by. I’ve always wonder how people can afford these houses, I thought it must partly come from family money.

Similar people to those in Totteridge. Rich, some with taste, some not (like a certain Mr. Ashley who has Christmas lights that can be seen for miles).
Or those in Bishops Avenue.

This house has been on the market for ages hasn't it? I remember us looking at the floorplan at work (because of the fur room) last year in Feb/March.

Yes. I’m pretty sure the original asking price was over £40 million. They were hoping to sell it to a Russian oligarch. I guess that ship has sailed now😬 It featured on a tv show about super expensive properties too.

@Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight I once worked for a family with a security room. It was manned 24/7 and could only be opened from the inside!
