Are AHPs getting their pay rise?

As AHPs voted to accept the payrise but nurses didn’t, what happens? Does it have to be all of them or none of them?

I imagine it has to be accepted by all as all are under the agenda for change banding. They can't pay a band 5 OT differently to a band 5 nurse.

All Agenda for Change staff, so that's nurses, AHPs, admin and clerical, managers, anyone not a doctor basically (or employed via agency etc) are waiting on a meeting of the NHS staff council in early May. The staff council which is formed of all the major unions (so Unison, Unite etc as well as RCN) will vote on whether to accept the government's pay deal. I think it's logical to expect that those unions which have balloted their members will vote as their ballot indicated (so RCN will vote no for instance). If the majority of the council vote yes (afraid I don't know if it's a simple majority needed or if it needs for instance to be 2/3rds or 3/4) then implementation of the pay deal will start (and doesn't necessarily stop individual unions from continuing industrial action if they have a mandate from their membership to do so). Given timings there's no way even if the council votes yes, that the money will come through for May's pay packages, June at the absolute earliest I would say...
