Buying an ice cream….

I still find really bizarre that if I'm out with my parents, I can buy an ice cream if I want one! And my mum can't say no.(Though she makes her disapproving noise) I'm 41 and a fully functioning adult with a mortgage and a full time job. And I still can't get my head round it. 😂
Also offering to buy my dad one is weird too. Like the natural order of things is reversed. Anyone else feel like this?!!!

Yesss. I still feel like a naughty child when I suggest getting an ice cream.

Sad to say that I didn’t actually get my ice cream, as the parlour closed at a ridiculously early hour. And missed it my ten minutes. 😰

I bought my dad lunch a couple of weeks ago and it felt very strange! I'm 34 but it did feel like it's upsetting the natural order, although also nice to do that small thing for him.

My mum always would buy me an ice cream. I miss that. She's not here to do it anymore.

I bought my dad lunch last week. First time he has ever let me pay, he still argued for about 5 mins and tried to stuff the cash in my bag. It felt like a win and I felt like a grown up 😂

My mum is convinced I'll develop diabetes by eating large ice creams. Despite my attempts to point out that it dies t work like that. (I'm a nurse)
