Gardening while pregnant

I feel rather stupid- 38 weeks pregnant and thought id plant some pots with my toddler today. Bought a bag of topsoil for the pots and spent a couple hours outside together planting in pots- stupidly had no.gloves on, didnt even think about it, surely as its topsoil from the shop it should be ok, and no danger from animal faeces?? Hands of both myself and toddler have been thoroughly washed but i feel daft now!!! I am not a gardener in any way but wanted 2 do something nice with my toddler b4 baby comes

You'll be fine, don't worry.

Should be ok as you washed your hands and presumably you didn’t see any cat poo

i think it’s cat poo that can cause issues in certain circumstances

Much more likely to contract Toxoplasmosis from undercooked red meat also many people contract this as a child and are unaware, it being put down to a "childhood illness" . Most people will have immunity.

I've been buggering around in the incredibly cat pooey garden the whole 13 weeks so far. (sawn down trees left an appealing amount of "litter" to local felines).

I was just extra careful with hand washing and hydration, all fine.

Is it legionnaires in potting mix you are concerned about or something else? You washed your hands well and presumably neither had open wounds or ate the soil? Just buy some gloves going forward.
