Which would you choose? Mine would be the Cadbury Marble bar from the 90s/00s but it would need to be the original recipe as Cadbury chocolate isn’t as good anymore

Pot Mash - it was a curry flavour and so so good! We used to eat them for lunch when I was doing A-levels

Cheese moments

These definitely still exist but they are really rare. Like snow leopards.

Maple2023 · 18/04/2023 17:03

Miss brannigans beef and mustard crisps too. Properly strong they were

EricandEnid · 18/04/2023 17:04

Yes to marble, spira and ready salted chip sticks
Also mingles and curry flavoured pot rice and cheese snaps, they were quavers cousin.
I also remember some crisps that were like chip sticks but they were in a pink pack and were bacon flavoured. I can never remember who made them?!

Cheese moments

You can still get them, my Mum and Sister love them. They turn up at some pubs and occasionally at home bargains or similar. Sometimes they are in a multi pack with scampi fries though.

Definitely Cadbury Turkish Delight bars - they were great.

SpudsandGravy · 18/04/2023 17:12

Sterilised milk in a can. We used to put it into fairy cakes. Looked odd but tasted fantastic :)

IfDreamsWereWings · 18/04/2023 17:14

Tooty Frootie sweets were also a favourite of mine.

The Cabana bar! Cherries, coconut and caramel in chocolate. Face-meltingly sweet.

Definitely this one! Oh my god it was DIVINE....

AdaColeman · 18/04/2023 17:19

The Scottish company Callard and Bowser sweets, especially the nougat fingers wrapped in rice paper. Even their packaging was beautiful!

On a savoury note, M&S used to do a small pot of smoked salmon pate topped with a slice of hot smoked salmon, completely delicious, and a far cry from the rather bland gloop they sell now.

MysteryBelle · 18/04/2023 17:19

Toastettes. (I’m in USA). Pop Tarts took them over I think in the 80s and they are tasteless bits of cardboard. Truly, it is criminal what they’ve done.

Toastettes were the most delicious little pastries, perfect crust, perfect filling. Same with Kern’s pies. Took over by a sickly sweet pie, no good.

Why are the good things taken over and destroyed and replaced with sub par garbage?

Huhsaywhat · 18/04/2023 17:19

Pacers - like minty opal fruits

I was about to post this. I loved them. It was like eating a spoonful of mustard.

Also: M&S prawn fish cakes
