Which would you choose? Mine would be the Cadbury Marble bar from the 90s/00s but it would need to be the original recipe as Cadbury chocolate isn’t as good anymore

Potato puffs

LunaNorth · 18/04/2023 22:13

Hotel Chocolate Chilli Penguins. They were gorgeous.

Peanut Banjos, too.

lookluv · 18/04/2023 22:15

mignons morceaux - please I need them
Phileas fogg rise again

Yuasa · 18/04/2023 22:18

Caramel barrels from 80s-era Roses

Fevertree Madagascan cola - the original cane sugar recipe

Chocolates filled with mango-flavoured toffee from an M&S chocolate box I had a few years ago.

Stir-fried lamb in yellow bean sauce from a particular Chinese restaurant. May or may not be ‘discontinued’, but I haven’t lived anywhere near this restaurant in decades and became vegetarian in the meantime so it’s discontinued for me. Melt in the mouth heavenly deliciousness.

Farmerama1 · 18/04/2023 22:26

the old style of Cadburys chocolate with more cocoa butter and no palm oil

stepstepstep · 18/04/2023 22:26

Spangles, I don’t think I’ve ever had one but my dad spent a good chunk of every family holiday trawling dusty sweet shops to see if he could find the UK’s last packet. I’d
bring them back for him & to see what all the fuss was about.

thehappyhaggis · 18/04/2023 22:27

I absolutely loved starburst joosters and regularly think about how much I'd love them to come back!

JellicleCat · 18/04/2023 22:28

Abbey Crunch biscuits. Never understood why they stopped making them.

kitchenSink5 · 18/04/2023 22:29

Galaxy truffle egg

Marble as well

LunaNorth · 18/04/2023 22:29

Can anyone help me with remembering the name of this? I’ve had a total flashback!

It was a savoury snack. Two fingers, like a Twix, but it was savoury. A kind of crunchy lattice outer, with a cheesy filling - a bit like the filling in a Ritz sandwich, but cheesier. I think the wrapper was blue.

Have I dreamed this?

Oh, I think I know what you mean. Was the cheese quite thick, and proper cheesy ?

LunaNorth · 18/04/2023 22:31

Got it!

I loved these!

It was proper cheesy, yes!

extramaturecheddarcheese · 18/04/2023 22:32

I'm back again to add 'salsa and mesquite' flavour kettle chips. I don't even know what mesquite is to be honest but it was great in a kettle chip.

Also, Marks and Spencer Parsnip and Gruyère Bake.

LunaNorth · 18/04/2023 22:35

Another vague memory I have is of Walls bringing out some really posh ice-creams, I think targeted at grown-ups.

They were like a cornetto, but in a black wrapper. The one I liked had a malty flavour. This would have been in the mid-80s. Might have been called something like Romantica?

happyinherts · 18/04/2023 22:35

Pink Panther strawberry chocolate bars.

passthegingordon · 18/04/2023 22:39

Could eat a full pack of these in one sitting.

Either topic or toastie toppers

You can still buy topics. The last time I got one was in Wilko. Sainsburys have them too I think.

LunaNorth · 18/04/2023 22:41

Romero! That was it! They were gorgeous.

Me too. The little candy pieces in the chocolate…mmm.

Cadbury spira

I was coming on to say this. Also Sports Mixture sweets, the black one used to be an aniseed/liquorice type of flavour and was the best and then they changed it to bloody blackcurrant and it just ruined it for me 😆

IfDreamsWereWings · 18/04/2023 22:44

I used to love the Dove ice cream lollies, much preferred them to magnum.
