Recommendations for non-wired, padded bras for flat chest.

I am flat-chested. No breast fat/ shape but just nipples. Hence bras are always too big. I've never had a well-fitting bra, simply because I don't need one. The cups always dent in from the pressure of clothes unless they are well structured and padded cups.

But I want to ditch the underwires and wear comfy bralettes. Whenever I try them on, they dent inwards. I need more of a moulded cup for to create the illusion of a shape.

I just want a comfy, non-wired bra / bralette that has enough to it that it gives me a curve under t shirts. Is there such a thing?

Look at primarks range, my teen and tween love them...mentioning both as my teen is busty, my tween is not. Lots of colours to choose from.

H&M have some good ones they are more like padded crop tops really. Not worn a bra for years now either wear these or padded bikini tops from H&M.

I have tried every bralet under the sun, m&S, matalan, primark and many others. They all go out of shape very quickly and don't give enough shape.I have small breasts, struggle to fill an A cup though my back is fairly broad. When I breastfed I couldn't find nursing bras small enough.
I always wore padded underwired until I had breast cancer. Post lumpectomy they all dug in and hurt , hence my search for a soft padded version.
Sloggi Zero Feel. Comfortable but with good firm shaped pads, they even give me a cleavage. It's all I wear now.
If only the pads were fixed (does anyone ever remove them? I'm sure if you were big enough to remove the pads you'd needmore support).

Try to love being flat chested!! I have only ever worn a bra when I was pregnant or breast feeding (and I successfully breast fed 3 DC despite otherwise being flat chested) and I hated it. As I have got older I have come to appreciate how much more comfortable it is not having to wear one and it is great if you are a runner.

Have you tried John Lewis? A friend swears by these ones to give shape and be comfy:

I successfully breastfed too, so I appreciate the job they did. But due to me being broad too, it just looks odd. I like a curved shape there! I'm not bothered enough to have a boob job, but I do feel frustrated that no bras fit ever. I will have a look at all of your recommendations, thank you!

Have you looked at some sports bras ?
Wide selection of colours
Some have cups built in
No wires

Or look at molke

Smiley444 · 16/04/2023 23:40

No, I haven't thought of sports bras to be honest! Not sure why. I've tried H&M and Primark, Next, M&S, George.
