Another idiom to translate!

Had some great input from the Mumsnet hive mind last time I posted, brain has gone to Sunday afternoon mush today so I was hoping for some fresh pairs of eyes on this:

If you say someone has “got something” - how might you interpret or describe that? I’m thinking along the lines of talent or skill but it doesn’t quite feel ‘enough’ to convey the “something”!

My interpretation:

'S/he's got something' is normally used to convey that a person has a distinguishing, but not easily defined quality which makes them stand out or be memorable.

The point of the phrase is that whatever quality it is they have can't easily be put into words, but is recognisable.
