Not letting child look out the window .....

Yesterday me and my partner got back from holiday.
I booked the seats on the plane and chose the window seat and middle seat.
I suffer from motion sickness which is bad particularly landing on a plane and turning of the plane-if I look out the window at the horizon it helps me so much
Otherwise I'm burning up ,feeling sick and extremely dizzy.
The way the seat window was aligned I had to sit a little forward to see properly out of the window.
So I did that as we were landing as I started feeling unwell
My partner says "lean back in your seat"she's trying to see out of the window"(and points to the girl on the Aisle seat (around 15 years old )
I say "if I don't look out of the window im going really really dizzy "
He said "oh come on she wants to look out and your blocking her view"

At this point i am turning to him ,the plane is turning and im feeling really light headed
So I snap "tough "
Was i in the wrong?
He knows how I feel on landing /turning etc

The flight would have been a lot more unpleasant for everyone if you were sick.

Well you obviously weren't in the wrong. Do you really need to ask?

Yes, it's nice to see out of the window but if you needed it to not feel ill then that takes priority.

If I was that teenage girl I’d have been curling up and dying inside, I bet she was so embarrassed to have been brought in to that

Very true.
But some motion sickness tablets for your next trip

Is he one of those partners who needs everyone to like him, except you?

What a nobber.

You're in the right. People without motion sickness and nausea do not know how often we are concentrating on trying to stay alive ffs. Given the fact he knows this he should have just carried on living his non nauseous life and stayed quiet.

He thinks I imagine it but honestly looking out the window and seeing the plane actually turning helps me so much
Looking ahead in my seat causes me so much dizziness
Flying without turning etc I'm fine
It's just when the plane drops /turns

You book a window seat TO look out of the window, your partner is a fool
