I have had 3 this week and DH is thinking this is too many. But I do the shopping for our toddler online a lot of the time. And most my clothes shopping. How many do you get?

Surely the number of parcels is irrelevant. What's more important is is it a good use of your household income, can you afford it or spend/save/invest it more wisely?

I think it's the boxes and environmental impact that concerns him. I do get that, there are a lot of boxes ro recycle sometimes. I try to reuse them with ebay sales etc where I can and choose the eco delivery option if available.

Maybe 1-2 a month. More coming up to christmas/holidays.

I'm come from a family with hoarding tendencies so I'm very mindful of how much stuff I'm bringing into our house as I don't like clutter. This stops me from boredom buying.

Depends on whether it’s someone’s birthday or Christmas. Around Christmas time it can be as many as 20 a week, I’ve had the Amazon guy wheel all the parcels up to the door before and the whole thing was for us. We’re a large family so a lot of presents, a lot of birthdays too. Usually always at least 2 a week, get a lot of toiletries and books online.

I recycle the boxes and save a gallon of fuel or more not having to drive into a town/city and back to buy something. A lot of the stuff I buy arrives in bags anyway.

Do you not think the delivery drivers are using fuel, polluting the environment and adding to the congestion of the roads? Not to mention that many of them drive like lunatics in residential areas and park illegally / inconsiderately while making deliveries.

Yes, I do. Which is is worse for the environment… one van delivering 200 items or 200 cars driving into town to buy one item?
