Go to one of the accountancy firms that specialise in small ltd companies and they’ll do it all for you. They’ll charge a fee that you could obviously avoid by DIY, but all you have to do is give them the company name and they’ll sort everything else.

Thank you!

It's easy enough to do yourself. Start with the companies house section of the government website, all the details are there.

Definitely find a nice little local accountancy firm to do it for you. You'll need an accountant anyway to produce your audited accounts every year.

It is so very easy to do it yourself. My dh took about 1 hour to do it on the internet. You need the trading name you have elected to use, dob of any directors, National insurance numbers of directors and how shares are split between directors. It is that easy. Then set up limited bank account. Setting up the limited company bank account took longer. An accountancy firm will charge £600-700 to do this simple task for you, maybe more.

I did this at the weekend. You don't need an accountant it took 10 mins tops

I can tell you specifically what I did if you are still needing help. It cost £12.00

Setting up a limited company is easy. Setting it up right requires a little more research and understanding. If you don't want to do the research yourself then find an accountant to advise.
