School staff - tell me the names of your loveliest pupils.

I often read on MN about names associated with “naughty’ children or unpleasant behaviour. What about the opposite? If you work in a school/ nursery what are the names of children you remember for being particularly kind or helpful or resilient or hardworking?
I particularly remember a resilient Matthew, a hardworking Susanna, a kind Harrison and a helpful Phillip. Over to you…..

Surely if you actually worked in a school, you'd realise it was totally inappropriate to do this. Hmm

What? On a completely anonymous forum mentioning just first names?! 😆😅. Atm I have an adorable Evie and very sweet Alex

NeverDropYourMooncup · 10/04/2023 21:58

Isaiah, Gabriel, Sam, Emilio, Deontay, Oliver, Ife, Yoko, Rachel, Jake, Alice, Megan, Rosie, Olu, Millie, Rhianna, Chinedum, Aoife, Grace, Tinala, Iffy, Sirion and Suraya come to mind.

This is one of the opposite of 'what names do you associate with the naughtiest/meanest kids so I don't pick one of those names for my kids' posts, isn't it?

Newname221 · 10/04/2023 22:01

All I’m going to say is being a teacher makes choosing names for your kids very, very hard.

Briallen · 10/04/2023 22:03

Are you for real? OP has not posted their addresses, just their random first names 🤦🏻‍♀️

This'll be a newspaper thread story.nicest children in the UK.

Nowhereelsetogo90 · 10/04/2023 22:27

Layla
Jack
John
Abbie
Grace

Greenorred · 10/04/2023 22:29

The nicest girl I had was actually a Jade, which isn’t a MN approved name but she was so lovely. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer but the most tolerant child ever.

Have also had a lovely Nathaniel, Hannah, Sophie, Maia, Duncan (he was extremely polite) Gino and Elwyn.

Those kids ranged from 2008-2019, I’m not giving much away I don’t think.

Justalittlebitduckling · 10/04/2023 22:38

Ottilie
Kitty
Nell
Claudia

All the boys I can think of are either naughty or have foreign so very outing names!

saucerfulofwater · 10/04/2023 22:41

Maybe but so what? There is no identifying info on poster, parents, schools or kids.

Anyone who read an article in a newspaper would take it with same pinch of salt.

It's a list of names that's all

Surely if you had a modicum of common sense you'd realise that is a ridiculous comment. 🙄

Mindovermatter247 · 10/04/2023 22:49

Not me skim reading to see if my kids names are mentioned… they are unique so would be easily identifiable 😂

Sodullincomparison · 10/04/2023 22:56

Known two boys called Hamish - over two decades apart and both adorable in very different ways.

Goodyetalso · 10/04/2023 23:00

I taught a really fun Noah - he was a lovely lad.

a Ben who was a delight - thoughtful and clever with a great sense of humour.

a Louise who was pure sunshine.

Eleanor - just a truly lovely girl.

This!! I felt like every name my exH suggested I immediately linked to someone I taught.

Still on my list would be Noah, Theo or Alex for a boy; Connie, Elspeth, Jemima for a girl.

Melbourne12 · 10/04/2023 23:04

Can any of you give the troublesome kids names? I’m curious who the main culprits are. 😁

I wouldn’t say there as specifically troublesome names; it’s more names that remind me of a particular pupil - and not always in a positive way.

Marcipex · 10/04/2023 23:13

Matthew and Michael are thoughtful well-behaved boys.
George rather the opposite.
Jayden sings beautifully.
Henry is unflappable and an exceptionally hard worker.

Mattea is calm and friendly ; dances and sings beautifully.
Casey is very sweet.
Madeleine and Elizabeth are exceptionally intelligent and well-behaved.
Rose is noisy and jolly.
Kitty has every possible good quality (and is not my child 😃)

Bigpaintinglittlepainting · 10/04/2023 23:17

I teach in a prison do you want all of their names ? Grin
