Potty Training, need to go out tomorrow.

Needing some advice on potty training please!

I have various things I need to do and appointments to go to tomorrow, so will be out for a good chunk of the day. Probably 4-5 hours.

We 'accidentally' started toilet training DD (not long turned 2) as she was running around naked in between getting her dressed and she sat on her potty and did a wee! After lots of fuss and praise, she has gone on the potty (along with a few accidents) and only worn a nappy at nighttime / nap time. She comes with me to use the toilet and we flush the poo in the toilet etc and we're reading books to her.

She hasn't sat on the toilet at all yet as she seems to be comfortable with the potty.

What do I do tomorrow when I have to go out, do I put her in a nappy? Or try and get her to go on the toilet? Or shall I commit a few more days at home and cancel the appointments?
TIA!

I wouldn't a nappy on her as it might confuse her.could you take a potty with you. (Under pushchair) and she could use it like she has been doing in a public toilet?

Potty training takes forever when people are casual about it. You need to commit, which means no more nappies except at sleeping times.

So travel potty and spare clothes.

Thank you. My hearts telling me to do this, so I'm going to do this.

Thanks everyone!

Good luck! I’m currently potty training too so right there with you.

I’m using the Oh Crap! Potty Training book and it’s so helpful.
