As the title says. Looking for any ideas please. Budget of about £1,000. Got a lap top etc (needed for school), not a girlie girl so no make up or clothes (they shop in charity shops mainly). No interest in driving lessons yet. Very creative. Bit Bohemian. I'm struggling. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you.

A holiday with a friend.

Take her away for a weekend. Give her an 18th to remember!

We got dd some pearl earrings from Tiffany, Pearl is her birth stone and she loves jewellery, she hasn’t taken them off in the nearly year since she’s had them! We also got her a watch.
can’t remember what else we got her but those were the kind of keepsake presents.
Not especially if your dd isn’t into jewellery though. It’s our dd2’s 18th this year and I think we’re going to get her a nice camera.

Do you want a nice gift or something that will last? I was given National Trust Life Membership, it’s a bit more money but will last for life. I’ve commissioned paintings of special places. A special holiday / weekend away? Jewellery.

I am not into jewelery at all, never wear any daily, but at 53 I still have the gold necklace my gran got me for my 18th. I occasionally wear at special occasions such as weddings and it means a lot to me.

My kids get a day and night at Alton towers (staying in the hotel the night before so as to have a whole day at the theme park the following day) with a friend for their 18th. (Other theme parks are available!).

The holiday or day out.

A form of ID that can be used to ensure your DD can vote. If your DD does not have one such as a passport. So your DD can have a say in her and your future.
