On a post that has just been deleted someone quoted this as being weird. I’m not sure it’s comparable with eating your main meal and dessert together though.
I don’t see the need to snap it. Would you comment if someone you know ate a kitkat like this?

I eat Kit Kats like that to wind the kids up.

Anyway, the pudding thread. It was a troll? At first I wondered who would troll about such a mundane thing but actually, mumsnetters get very het up and defensive about their eating anomolies so I guess I can see the point. Must be bored though.

Same. Running your nail down the middle of the foil was one of life's simple pleasures.

I wonder if it's possible to recreate it with normal tin foil. Would it be sad of me to rewrap all my kit kats?

Kit kat chunkies must be eaten by nibbing the chocolate of the end and the sides as you work your way down the bar.

It would need to be cheap and thin foil. And then running your finger into the void between the fingers to split it. So pleasing. Then I’d eat the chocolate off every edge, and one end would always be thicker.

I’m coeliac so I can’t have kitkats any more and have to get the Tesco gluten free ones.
They taste pretty decent, but they will not snap lengthways no matter how hard you try. There’s even a groove in them to snap them widthways.
Five years after my coeliac diagnosis and this still gives me issues. Whoever designed them clearly has a vendetta against people who can’t eat gluten.
