Things to do in London with a toddler?

We’re going to London this weekend and I’m looking for any suggestions of things to do.

So far I think we’re planning to go on the open top bus, go to Buckingham palace and possibly the aquarium. Anything else that’s particularly good for toddlers?

There’s a lovely big playground next to the London Eye. You could go there before/after the aquarium.

Science museum downstairs with the water is amazing. Princess Diana memorial park is fun to play at. My daughter loved the Thames clipper and emirates sky car at that age too (loves heights!). Also sky garden.

Pré booked play session at the postal museum (you don’t have to go into the museum) ditto Army Museum. Elephant and Castle park play fountains. They’re fab.

Walk along the South Bank and look at stuff. Take a boat under Tower Bridge.

Natural History Museum - dinosaurs!

Playground near London eye - Jubilee Gardens?
Just riding on the tube - trains!!
Diana Memorial Play area

Thanks all! Lots of good suggestions! We’ve got 2 and a half days to fill so will hopefully get round lots of them

There's a playground by Buckingham palace too in St James park

As others have said just travelling around on the tube and buses is exciting enough! Plus of course free for under 11s

Not sure you need an open top tour - we found that it was a bit boring for ours and they didnt really have any concept of the history/ significance of buildings - just sitting on the top deck of normal buses is good enough! This - https://www.londonforfree.net/bus-tour/ gives details of which buses to use to see the main sights
