How much does the tooth fairy pay?

I've a couple of years before I need to worry but apparently the tooth fairy is paying £2 a tooth and £5 for a back tooth? Bloody inflation. I wasn't aware, thought it was still a pound. When did this happen? It's like how in the last few years Easter has become more like Christmas. We got an outfit, nothing special, from parents and an egg from grandparents. These kids are getting balloon displays, chocolate, clothes, shoes, toys...

We do 5 for first tooth, 2 for every tooth after but if she's delayed for any reason then it increases too. Easter bunny still only brings an Easter egg here though

Seems to be £1 a tooth here… I have twins so relieved no wobbly teeth here yet 😬

Ours was always £1. However I’ve a friend whose tooth fairy brings small change, from a few pence to £2. Whatever the tooth fairy has in her purse that day. Our tooth fairy wished she’d done that on several occasions when a surprise tooth was lost late in the evening.

The tooth fairy money I'd discussed with friends. They said they and others they know are paying this. Thought bloody hell sorry but wasn't it traditional, one gold coin? The Easter thing I've seen mostly on social media but know a couple that spend at least 100 on each child for it.

£2.00 per tooth which I thought was generous but DS friend and DN get £10.00 per tooth, I can't afford that!

Makes it awkward when DC want to know why the tooth fairy leaves their cousins more than them.

£1 ... I did try to give my 7 year old a 50p when I had no pound coin and he told me she short changed him!!

£1 per tooth. Same pound usually 😄🤫 who has cash these days anyway, it’s all I can do to find £1.

Our kids certainly don’t get Easter balloons or outfits etc though so maybe I’m not the right demographic 😄

My eldest hasn’t lost any teeth yet, but his best friend lost his first one recently. Chatting to his dad on the playground he said he and his wife were planning £5 for the first, £2 per tooth after that. Other parents involved in the conversation seemed to be in agreement.

£1 per tooth, unless it gets taken out by the dentist then £2. (DC1 had a few that were reluctant to come out on their own and needed a bit of encouragement).

I don't like how Easter is becoming christmas 2, DD gets a few eggs (the £1 ones so she can have a bit of a hunt) and that's it.

Although first was actually 50p because the tooth fairy had one of the special Peter Rabbit 50p coins and it was really shiny.

£1 per tooth, our tooth fairy isn’t very reliable. It has taken her a couple of nights to come in the past 🤦‍♀️. My DC’s started writing little notes to her to ask her name and all sorts 😬

£2 for a first tooth and £1 thereafter. First tooth gets taken away, so I can keep it in a little container, but others don't.
