Life ruined by nausea and vomiting. Please help

This is about week 4 of it.

In the evening I suddenly get extremely nauseous, followed by vomiting and heaving, and vomiting at night.

Wake up and I'm feeling nauseous and then fine again.... until the evening hits.

In that short space of time, I've noticed my teeth seem to be suffering! They feel rough like the enamel is coming away

GP said acid reflux but I don't have any heartburn on indigestion. Anyway, I've tried taking Omoprazole and Lanzoprazole and they have done 0!!!

I am fed up of it. I care for a child with special needs and I'm worn to the ground by all this vomiting

What else could I be? I need a plan to go back to the GP with. I can't carry on living like this anymore.

Could I be food intolerance related? Dd was similar and it turned out to be coeliac disease, started out of the blue.

@QuintanaRoo I think that might be something to explore

In saying that, I remember exactly what I ate yesterday (never get to actually eat in the evenings now), and it was just fresh fish and veg, and some nuts

Nothing else due to sickness. Could the reaction be delayed?

I think for some people with coeliac disease the reaction can be delayed, though would have thought that would be hours, not a day. Saying that Dd had no pattern to her vomiting that we noticed, with coeliacs your digestive villi get flattened so while you’re actually still eating gluten the reactions aren’t as immediate because it’s hard for the gluten to get absorbed. Once you stop eating gluten and the villi heal then reactions are quicker.

I could well be wrong but they reckon 1 in 100 people have it and lots are undiagnosed with the actual diagnosis average time being something like 8 years. It was nearer ten years for Dd.

Have you had any new medication since it started? Sounds exactly like my friend had, but turned out it was her medication. She got it changed and has been fine since.

@QuintanaRoo thank you, you've given me something to look into. All the very best to your poor DD waiting so long

@BeLuckyy I haven't, we'll just the anti acids prescribed by GP but they were given after I'd already been sick for a couple of weeks at that point

I had something similar, but not every night, and it turned out to be stomach migraines.

How do you feel in the morning?

You need some blood tests done. Some autoimmune issues can cause these types of symptoms.
