Man asked if he should "beat me to understand" in road rage incident

Came across a substantially flooded section of the country road I take to get home. I was extremely nervous as literally lost a car last winter, was stranded bang in the middle as I didn't keep revs up.

So probably was driving too fast through. Car in opposite car told me to slow down before asking I'm thick. I am shaken cause the guy asked if he needed to get out and beat me in order for me to understan.

I'm totally shaken. I was terrified he was going to hurt me 😢

He sounds like an absolute dick to verbalise that to you!

But - as someone who lives rurally, watching someone barrel through a flooded country lane only wide enough for one car at a way too fast speed is terrifying! The amount of times in my car I've been cursing someone who's done similar. Understandable that last year you lost a car in a similar situation, but it suggests to me you're not confident in that situation and tbh I can understand his frustration, you could have damaged his car too. Not to the point I'd be threatening to physically harm you at all, that's unacceptable! But you do need to work on your driving if this is something you're going to come across often.

Why does anyone post on MN?

I've no idea why people post made up shit though. That was the point. I don't know why people report crimes to the police that didn't happen either.

Last night was rife on MN. I saw numerous threads deleted. It's beyond a joke now.
