Out of curiosity:

What is your favourite breakfast, lunch and dinner to cook and eat. It can be anything from something you have every week, to something you only make for special occasions

Bonus points if you've got recipes and links

Inspire me!

Mine would be
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with smoked paprika, and bacon on thick white bread with butter
Lunch: chicken club sandwich with fries
Dinner: pan fried duck with dauphinois, roasted carrots and a red wine sauce.

Delish!

Breakfast- bacon roll with very crispy bacon, and a fresh bakers roll, and brown sauce
Lunch - warm sausage roll and some chocolate
Tea - fish and chips, or, steak pie with peas, and cheesecake for desert.

However usually I have
Breakfast - nothing
Lunch - maybe toast, maybe nothing, maybe some crisps
Tea - usually pasta, or curry, or fish, something homemade.

Not sure if it's very inspirational though op :)

Breakfast: breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs and maybe some sort of meat if I feel like it or an Ulster Fry (All The Breads)

Lunch: I am a big fan of a good soup

Dinner: curry (namely a dansak, jalfrezi or chilli masala, saag aloo, daal and naan)

I probably wouldn't eat it all on the same day though

Eggs florentine with tea

no lunch - piece of extra mature cheddar if peckish

bbq’d prawns with potato salad and Chablis

Hard to whittle all my favourite foods down into 3 meals! But I'll try...

Breakfast: either waffles with Nutella, squirty cream, maple syrup, bananas and berries OR corned beef hash with home fries and a fried egg from a proper American diner.

Lunch: a proper cheese and pickle sandwich with really fresh bread and strong cheddar, an apple and a packet of roast beef monster munch.

Dinner: an Indian takeaway with chicken tikka pathia, keema rice, saag alloo and loads of popodoms & chutneys, plus a naan bread to have a nibble on. Or steak, chips, asparagus and peppercorn sauce. Can't decide!

Haha 😂 amazing

BreviloquentBastard · 29/03/2023 22:56

Breakfast: Classic Eggs Benedict with a big pot of tea

Lunch: Toasted Ciabatta with smoked mozzarella, green and red pesto, Mortadella, crumbled pistachios, olive oil and cracked black pepper

Dinner: Steakhouse cut ribeye, sous vide, seared and butter basted with garlic and roasting herbs, fondant potatoes, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, parmesan crisps.

Obviously all special occasion foods or I'd be the size of Jupiter.

Breakfast: Two boiled eggs and two slices of marmite on toast with white bread and real butter. Large mug of Yorkshire tea. In bed.

Elevenses: Giant tub of fresh houmous drizzled with olive oil and a sprinkle of proper Spanish paprika, served with carrots, or just a spoon.

Lunch: Sesame bagel with lashings of cream cheese, smoked salmon, avocado, squeeze of lemon, salt and black pepper. Preferably to be eaten in a sunny outdoor spot, in peace.

Afternoon snack: Homemade lemon drizzle cake, served with more tea. To be eaten with a good friend.

Dinner: Tartiflette and a green salad and lots of fresh crusty bread, enjoyed with family. No room for dessert but possibly a Ferrero Rocher or three.

(Realise I didn’t stick to the brief, cravings got the better of me!)

I do love a good kebab,

febbabies2023 · 30/03/2023 02:24

Reading all these whilst doing the night feed has just made me starving!

Some really good variety I must say 😂

@blueskiesandsun I love that you've added extra meals in there! I'm all for elevenseys and snacks considering I think of food probably 22/24 hours a day

People love a form of Indian / curry for dinner (or tea) don't they

Keep going, love this 🤤

PaperwhiteTheGhost · 30/03/2023 04:08

Breakfast: Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Followed by scrambled eggs and tinned tomatoes on buttered toast with fried mushrooms (yes, dream breakfast is 2 courses). Strong tea and a glass of orange juice (no bits)

Lunch: the ubiquitously offensive "picky bits". Selection of deli meat, olives, those little peppers stuffed with goats cheese, stuffed vine leaves, sundried tomatoes, hummus, taramasalata, pate, cheeses, nice bread. Graze until done. Icy cold glass of Sancerre. Preferably all shared.

Dinner: pasta with baked feta, roasted cherry tomatoes and fresh basil OR pasta in a chicken ans spinach parmasan sauce. Served with either more Sancerre or some Chianti.

sashh · 30/03/2023 06:10

Breakfast, nasi goreng.

Lunch A trip to the carvery.

Dinner after the carvery I wouldn't need one but on a different day I actually love a couple of boiled eggs and soldiers.

TheEliminator · 30/03/2023 06:32

Breakfast- Sourdough toast spread with avocado and a poached egg on top. Finished off with pepper and chilli flakes.

Lunch- Crusty roll filled with crispy bacon, Brie and chilli jam 😋

Dinner- Steak, chips, mushrooms and DH’s special home made steak Diane sauce 😋 😋

PiranhaTank · 30/03/2023 07:05

Well good morning. I am just about to get up and I am starving now! Here's what I would love to have today....

Breakfast - French toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup, maybe some fresh berries on the side for health.

Lunch - lentil soup with homemade cheese scones, fresh from the oven and dripping with melting butter.

Dinner - I tried making a Dishoom recipe a few days ago. Chicken berry Britannia (biryani) . It was absolutely amazing, so that with Peshwari naan.

mamaduckbone · 30/03/2023 22:18

B - fried mushrooms and baby tomatoes on sourdough toast with avocado, spinach and a poached egg.
L - chicken, pesto and mozzarella panini with salad and coleslaw on the side.
D - Mexican pork carnitas, nachos, red rice. Or enchiladas. Love Mexican food.
