How many times has your car been around the Earth?

Because curiosity got the better of me I recently googled the Earth's circumference.
Give or take, it's 25,000 miles, which is generally considered a decent, respectable mileage on a 2-3yr old car but actually it equates to one whole trip around the planet!
I mean granted, your average Mini Clubman hasn't actually traversed the Amazon Rainforest or Mariana Trench...but even so....
My car has been around the Earth 1.75 times, or 5.5 'Moon Laps'.
What has yours done?

This is making me realise how much of our lives we waste in our cars 😂

Got the car 9 months ago. But it’s a 67 plate.

got it on 14,000 miles - 0.56 times

now on 44,000 miles - 1.6 times in 9 months haha

Nearly 5 times. It was a seriously good buy.

Once, 3 years old

Once! It’s 4.5 years old. I’m surprised, it’s had maybe 15 longish trips a year for work, but most of that has been clocked up on small journeys (and mostly a 0-5 miles an hour through roadworks…), I’m amazed I could have driven round the world in that time.

Round the Earth? My eldest recently noted that one our cars has gone further than the moon 😂

Never, it's a 72 plate and we've had it since last October and on 3218 miles.

6 times, 10 year old car! I used to have a long commute for work.

None yet, about 0.4 times, I've had her since 2020 but since I've been able to WFH 2/3 times a week and some things I go to have moved so are now closer, I use her less.

In reality, the Most exotic place poor “Brum-Brum” (as did christened him as a baby) has been over the last 14 years of his life is London to Birmingham every few moths. He’s usually found hanging round the Aldi car park 🤣

We’ve had our moneys work out of him, 4k well spent over a decade ago. Just passed yet another MOT <proud>

just hit 4 times. 2016 car but was DH work car for first 3 years so did a bit of mileage and then we bought it from the lease company. It has also done a road trip around Europe which added some miles!

Dh said the same about his old car! 😁

Mine has been round 1.6 times - and it's 14yrs old!!

Were only on 17,500 on my 20 plate husband's 21 plate 10,000 so one between us

Since June 2020 I've done 12,134 miles - so not quite half way

All electric too (smug grin)

Not sure of the exact mileage, so I'm guessing about 44,000, which is 1.76 times around the Earth. In reality, it's only left the UK once and on that unhappy occasion the damn thing broke down!

About twice and it 14 years old.

Mine’s at just over 2k, so it’s still on its first ‘lap’!
