I just cut the top off an open bag of crisps so I can eat the rest in bed without getting too greasy

Freeing my 11 yo dd who had been tied up with string by one of my 14 yo dd's friends while they were all watching a film yesterday. 11 year old adores 14yo's friend, so let her, but then had regrets. 🙄

I’m v sorry to you dd but this made me cackle 😅

Cutting the sodding scratchy labels off a pair of M&S pyjamas.
Wtf do they use such horrible, irritating labels?! John Lewis are no better.

Yup! It was a share bag so I cut the excess off and was left with a perfect bowl shape!

For your next bag try my alternative (no scissors involved, unless you choose to cut the top open neatly)
Open the bag as normal, press the bottom of the bag into itself.
This reduces the excess space as per your cutting solution, but also forms a base to stand the crisp packet ‘bowl’

My most recent scissor use was to cut off a length of bin bag and to cut a rectangle of cardboard box

Making a bend protection backing and then wrapping to to send for a vintage eBay magazine sale
