Hi,

Trying to make sure I have enough food for DS’s upcoming party. 18 kids, includes 1 toddler and two 11 YOs, rest are 7/8. Three have dietary requirements. Is this enough food?

2 x 10 inch pepperoni pizza
2 x 10 inch Margherita pizza
2 x 20 kid’s’ sandwich platters
1 x small plate jam sandwiches
1 x platter veg crudites and dips
40 cocktail sausages
6 Vegetable samosa rolls
Share bag onion rings
Share bag cheese puffs

Also considering something sweet, like the mini boxes of rocky road/cornflake bites.

Thanks!!

After doing probably 20 + kids parties since being a parent /sp

Pizza always lots of pizza. For 18,8 year olds id do 6 pizzas min.

Nuggets
Cocktails sausages

They always like the junk food. Party rings, chocolate fingers, cupcakes, popcorn.

Sandwiches always get left as do veg sticks.

If anyone is coming back to this thread to see how our party ate the food…

We ended up with 15 not 28 kids on the day, so for 15 kids aged 8, this was too much food - I only cooked 4 pizzas, not the 8!

Sandwiches went down well. Adults didn’t touch the crudités.

My piece of advice, it is hard to judge! Just buy knowing that it may be an extra ‘tea’ or dinner the next day 🤣

We are having a family thing today, just mainly adults, so none of the food will be wasted.

Goodness am I the only one who thinks that's way too much? In my experience kids eat hardly anything at parties.
