Does your Mum do anything for you as a mother of little ones?

If you're single? Or not?

No.

If anything, I'd expect the dad to do anything, more than the mum (not the children's dad, the OP's')

My ma bought me a bunch of tulips last year for Mother’s Day, but it was my first Mother’s Day and it was more a ‘you’re doing a great job’ bunch of tulips. Plus she said at the time ‘Don’t expect this every year!!’ 😂 it’s nice to be nice… but not too nice I guess!
I am not single, I’m v happily married.

My dm passed but df used to buy me flowers on behalf of the dc.

No! You should be treating her.

FWIW I tend to buy a little posy for my SIL and my GM for Mother’s Day too… besides my Ma, of course.

Yes she buys me flowers.

My aunt does for my niece, she helps her DGS buy some flowers and a card etc.

My Grandpa (Mum's Dad) used to take me out to get Birthday and Mother's Day presents for my Mum. There wasn't anyone else. I didn't have a Dad. And Mum's Mum had passed away. My Grandpa was wonderful, always made sure to take me out. It was as much for me as it was for Mum.

I buy cards and gifts for my grandchildren to give to their mum, who is single. I didn’t want her to get nothing on Mother’s Day because she happened to be on her own. These gifts are not from me to my daughter, they’re from her children. Feels like a normal, nice, thing to do.

Yes she always did, up until this year when DS is now working and driving.

DC's dad has always been useless and it wouldn't have occurred to him to do it.

It's making me feel quite emotional about how locket my DM is 😊

My mum helps DD to get me a gift as DH is too useless!
