Belfast Titanic quarter - family restaurant

Me and 2 DC (7 and 9) will be in Belfast for one night in Easter to visit the titanic museum. We are staying in the titanic quarter and its a flying visit so keen to eat around there in the evening but looking online, it doesn't look like there are many family friendly restaurants in the area. Can anyone recommend somewhere, within walking distance ideally, nearby for dinner? Thanks!

There really aren't many restaurants in Titanic quarter, but Belfast is such a compact walkable city that you could stroll over the river to the city centre.
St Anne's square in the cathedral quarter has loads of places that would suit.itd be about a 15m walk from where you're staying. My favourite is Coppi, casual Italian sharing plates.

There's a restaurant in the Titanic centre itself, it's a little overpriced but the food isn't bad.

You're such a short walk from the city centre. 15 minutes will have you in St Anne's Square. Coppi is great and v family friendly even for my super fussy kids. Round the corner from there is Pizza Punks. Victoria Square again is v close has Pizza Express, Zizzi, Wagamamas, Five guys. Local chain is little wing Pizza in Ann Street again very good

Aargh sorry, mumsnet is doing my nut in just now, I did not mean to tag you 5 times on a random post! That is very helpful info, thank you. It sounds like a walk there and a taxi back would be ideal.

And thanks Rafaella But I think the museum closes about 6 and hoping to keep the kids up and at till a bit later

Brilliant, thanks Shoofly, sounds like that's the area to head to. I presume it's easy enough to flag down a taxi around there for getting back to the hotel?

Fonacab and Value cabs are the main private hire taxis in the city centre. You're meant to book them first, so I'd ask restaurant to book for return if you're not sure. There are black taxis in city centre you can hail but mostly closer to city hall (there is a taxi rank there)
Enjoy your trip.

What hotel are you staying in? For taxis download the FonaCAB or ValueCab apps and it shouldn’t be too bad. Great restaurants round St Ann’s Square for sure. Have fun!

Thanks all, we are staying at the titanic Hotel as a bit of a treat but they only seem to have a fine dining restaurant which wouldn't be fun for any of us!
