Warner Bros studio - is this the best option?

Dsis is taking the kids to London in 6 weeks - now I’ll say this, she’s incredibly organised but has a lot on, I can’t stress enough how great a sister she is.

unfortunately neither her nor I realised just how far in advance you need to book the Harry Potter studio tours. They’re totally sold out.

they essentially need 3 kids tickets as 2 of the 3 kids have disabilities and they would be entitled to caters tickets for both adults. Do we just keep checking the Warner bros studio website and hope that someone cancels? All of the “tour” third party sites are charging circa £150-£200 a ticket and there doesn’t seem to be any available anyway for the dates they’re down.

if they don’t get there it’s not the end of the world just wondered if anyone was aware of any other resale sites available for them? (I couldn’t see any; not sure if resale is even an option!)

thanks!

I'd be tempted to call them and ask if there is any way they could let you know if any spaces for the dates they'll be there become available (explaining you're visiting London with 2 disabled children who would love to visit them). We went there when one of our DC was temporarily in a wheelchair and they were amazing with us- including letting us in an earlier slot that we had booked so that we weren't waiting around when we arrived early, and letting us go in first so that the child in the wheelchair didn't just get to see the back of people's legs.

Thanks for reply very much appreciated. Ah their phone number but on their webpage says the folk on the phone don’t hold additional tickets.

it seems the Warner bros trusted travel partners do have tickets but they’re £200/ticket.

might be a thing for another trip!

They do release more tickets, you just have to keep trying.

Sorry but what a daft suggestion, it’s just not logistically feasible

If you can't, are there other things you can do? London is full of so many different types of entertainment, from museums to theatres, to food, that there are surely other alternatives as well.

holierthanthou73 · 13/03/2023 17:41

and it’s not in London

SomePosters · 13/03/2023 17:46

Having just been on a carers ticket I can tell you that if you get the kids tickets sorted they hold carer tickets in a separate allocation which can only be issued on the day with a valid ticket and blue badge/other evidence

so if you can get the 3 kids tickets the carer ones will be issued on the day even if it’s sold out.

It was a great day out and you can easily spend most of a day there

Thanks everyone! I’m not going myself but dsis isn’t on here.

will keep trying and thanks @SomePosters yes have kept checking for 3 kids tickets as thought this was how the carers tickets worked but glad to have it confirmed!

if it doesn’t end up happening hey ho - maybe more tickets will be released so will keep on trying. Their booking site didn’t seem to be working last week (seems to have been the case for a fair few folk) and by the time she got round to trying today they were all sold out!

Resurrecting this for some advice on days which look sold out. Trying to book for February - Scottish half term dates- but can only get evening tickets and don’t think that’ll work for us. What are the chances of more tickets being released, should we keep checking?
