Chilblain madness

I took DC to school this morning, it is less than 5 minutes walk, by the time I came back I had 4 chilblains. They've been itching/burning/hurting all day.

I was honestly out for less than 15 minutes. Is this normal? I've only started suffering with them for the last few years and it seems to be getting worse. Winter has been awful, I'd just gotten over them and am now back to suffering!

I have my first ever at the moment. It's horrible! I do have crap circulation though.

Did you try to warm your hands up really quickly? Like holding them in front of warmth?

I read that was the most common cause.

My 14 year old gets these after he once went on a bike ride in the cold. Doctor recommended Vicks, and as his are in his feet two pairs of socks. Also soaking feet in warm water.

They are on my toes. I was wearing 2 pairs of socks. I then just started working from home so didn't try to warm them up quickly or anything. It's like my toes instantly freeze if it's cold outside. There must be an issue with my circulation

Sudocrem cured mine 20 plus years ago. Haven't had them since.
