Has anyone had this weird virus?

I don't know if it's a virus or not as no cold or sickness type symptoms just real extreme fatigue?
Me and my 7 yr old have both been extremely tired, nobody else in my household is like this. Normally 7 yr old is awake till gone 10pm out of refusal to sleep and up at 7am. He's been falling asleep by 8pm every night for the past few days and coming home really tired which isn't like him he's normally a bundle of energy.
I'm really struggling with fatigue to and have been sleeping 16 hours!

Any idea what this could be? It's bizarre.

For me it was exhaustion, a fever that came and went for over a week, a slightly sore throat and then, as it steadily got worse (as I ignored it), shivers and sweats and generally feeling awful. When I finally realised it felt like when I used to get tonsillitis and decided to actually look at the back of my throat, it was completely white.

Oh no, poor you.

Ds will be subjected to the indignity of me peering down the back of his throat with a torch now!

@BlackeyedSusan It was my own stubborn fault for refusing to accept that I was sick and needed antibiotics 😂
