For me, it was a bed jacket. My inner 95 year old is so excited for it to arrive.

Tiny hoops that close completely round your ear lobe, "hugging" it.

These are the diamond ones I wanted, but the Accessorize ones are so similar (and also sterling silver), that I'm really glad I didn't shell out £140 for them:

MV is quite overpriced, and silver + diamonds isn’t the best combination for strength, so I think you made the right call ! I think your best bet would be looking at second hand, I see your style is quite discreet, there should be people willing to sell for uprades. Just white gold or platinum thought I’d recommend.

Underworld tickets

tempusername1234 · 04/03/2023 08:15

A boardgame (Gloomhaven). Kind of hoped the family would be interested, but the reality is that so far I've not even had the time myself to look at it..

And here I am on Mumsnet reading posts and writing nonsense about not having time....

A big haul of Kaffe Fassett quilting fabric. And one of his books that is out of print, I found for a tenner - yay!

Dyslexicwonder · 04/03/2023 08:23

A Costa coffee yesterday morning, my regular Friday treat.

What is a diamond huggy? Like a sleeper? I wonder if I need some?

Seems like it’s the new name for a sleeper.

Damn you MadameSzyszkoBohusz! I’ve googled it and fallen in love with a £500 pair and I WANT them SO much!!!! 😂

I just bought a long cotton shirt dress for the summer from M&S, it's a lovely fine cotton with a collar and full skirt, very wafty . And the Tiffany lamp we ordered for a joint valentines present has just arrived, to lighten up a dark corner.

This sounds lovely, could we have a link please? Grin

PuttingDownRoots · 04/03/2023 09:18

I just spent £3 on Danish pastries for mine and kids breakfast

Danikm151 · 04/03/2023 09:21

Fall out boy tickets. My inner 15 year old is screaming for the date to hurry up 🤣

HildasLostSock · 04/03/2023 09:22

@MadameSzyszkoBohusz they're lovely that's it I'm off to accessorize!

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 04/03/2023 09:32

Enjoy, @HildasLostSock, I can confirm they look good and are very comfy - I specifically wanted something that I could just leave in that wouldn't bother me when sleeping or working out and so far they've been perfect. I don't worry about them falling either as they close completely.

Sorry @pinkstripeycat! What are the £500 ones, maybe we can find you a cheaper dupe too?

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 04/03/2023 09:33

Good to know @Godlovesall26, thanks for the tip!

A bag specifically designed for my embroidery. It's got little pockets and elastic loops and fits everything in and I'm childishly pleased with it

lucysmam · 04/03/2023 09:45

@ISpyCobraKai where are you seeing The Killers? I agree, they're amazing live!

I was planning to treat myself to a crochet pattern today and the recommended yarn. Usually I look for free patterns and a cheap-ish suitable yarn for them, but have been eyeing this one up for a looooong time.

A beautiful Pilot fountain pen 🖋️😍 and some expensive ink...and a gorgeous holder for the pen ... might have become a little bit carried away 🤣

IHeartGeneHunt · 04/03/2023 10:47

Yarn for a 1980s jumper that I'm going to knit, it needs 27 different balls so I'm getting them in stages.

DoorstoManual · 04/03/2023 10:50

iPad 10, I am due a six figure inheritance which is bogged down in last minute admin, but the house is sold, the solicitors have given final figures due, so I went and bought an iPad. Feel utterly irresponsible. Grin

The thing is we could afford it anyway, but it just didn’t feel right. Yes I know I am a funny bundle.😂
