Amazon refunded without the return

I bought my DM a pair of lined Crocs for her birthday (bought 2 as was unsure of fit). Just processed the return for the unsuitable pair and I've been issued an instant refund with a message that I don't need to return the item?! Nearly £40 worth?

How is this feasible?!

Happened to me but with a £6 litter tray. Was more annoyed cause I don't wnat the bloody thing 😂

That's weird. Which returns service did you choose? Usually once it's in the system, e.g. QR code scanned for Evri or Royal Mail the refund comes through.

I have had this happen many times with Amazon. Last week I wanted to return a t-shirt, which was £14.99. They refunded me an didn't want it back!

Have to also say regading regards on amazon its great they do free returns to the post office etc but the last twice I have tried to return this way to post office they have said sorry they dont take the returns and amazon need to update or the post office need to update system. The once it was for a phone holder for the car and by the time I had tried driving from post office to office, and oh you have to package it, I started to think I shouldnt have bothered.

We sent it using the code Amazon provided via Evri. All scanned in. They just said they never received it.

Just had this with a BT digi-box bought on Amazon -£99?! Holding on to it (it arrived damaged) incase they want it back!
