Best place to sell various things?

I have a cash crisis and need to sell some things but am unsure the best and safest way to do this.

I have a few vintage designer items
A lot of good quality but not designer children clothes
Some musical instruments
A sketch
Various books signed by authors
Bone china
Denby stoneware
Silver jewellery (including small items from Tiffany’s)

I have bought on eBay a couple of times but not sold so I don’t have any kind of profile (plus I originally registered in my actual name and would like to change that)

I have sold a couple of items on Facebook but there was a lot of faff plus I know work full time in the office so less availability to wait in for people who turn up. Also worried about scams.

I have used PayPal to buy but not sell.

I am worried about sending valuable items through post and buyers claiming it was lost or damaged etc.

and generally I am unsure how to price things.

help!

I sell on ebay and Vinted my unwanted items. I found Vinted is good to sell lower value items like clothes or even books. Is quick to list and you don't pay any fees as a seller. I found you need to list often to keep your account relevant orherwise things are there forever. I don't use PayPal on Vinted.
Anything of higher value or not clothing I sell on ebay. Their fees are high but items get a lot of exposure. Provided you are thruthful on your descriptions and don't take it personally if someone complains it works well. Also ensure you use the correct postage. I use Royal Mail always but pay postage through ebay, it is slightly cheaper and gets a tracking number. Bigger items I do collection and cash on collection only, no exceptions. You don't need Paypal to sell on Ebay as they manage their own payments now.
If you also have a lot of fashionable, vintage clothing/shoes/ jewellery you can also sell on Deepop although I find it more of a young person's game. My teen DD sells her unwanted clothing on there and things can sell for silly money! But she models/ stages the clothes and treats it like social media.
To decide on prices have a look at similar items being sold on those sites. You can check completed items on ebay to see currents trends and prices before listing.
Whatever method you use ensure you take good quality photos with good descriptions. Please be aware that things can sell really quick but can also be
hanging around for a long time so if you need money quickly slightly underprice them to move them faster.
Good luck!
