Sudafed, Day and Night Nurse set to be withdrawn

Apparently, an urgent review is being done after it's been found that the decongestant pseudoephedrine can cause a rare brain disorder.

Night Nurse doesn't contain pseudoephidrine so I don't know why this would be withdrawn.

It's the Promethazine in night nurse that has the sedative. You can get Promethazine hydrochloride on its own as a sleep aid.

Noooo they're the only things that work with a snotty cold. Nasal sprays rip my nose to pieces and work for 20 seconds.

Is Sudafed nose spray included? It is a constant in my life. I have relied on it to get me breathing through my nose comfortably for 20+ years. Aaaarrgh!

It’s a review not a decision. Hopefully nothing will change
