Are there lots of bugs / viruses going around at the moment - have you been unwell?

I’ve felt quite rough since Monday morning. Nauseous, lost appetite, diarrhoea, wiped out. And physically vomited a lot yesterday morning.

I thought it was something to do with a UTI / antibiotics I’ve been taking - but tests are now clear. Just did a covid test - clear.

It’s so unlike me to lose my appetite - is there a virus going around at the moment? Have you been ill?

Me and the kids had a sickness bug about 3 weeks ago and we're all just getting over w cold, it does feel like one thing after another at the moment. Looking forward to the illnesses dying down a bit in the summer!

There has been so much illness in our house since October. DD18 has had 4 viruses, DS16 had 1, DH has had two (currently ill). All of them a week or so long. I'm the only one who has escaped (although I have had other health issues but those aren't seasonal). We usually get one virus a year each so this winter has felt like it is constant.

I'm starting with something, I've been feeling like something's been lurking for a few days and today I'm snotty, headache and slight sore throat. My daughter had that bastard coughing bug for about a fortnight, got rid of it week and half ago and now it (or something else) is back with a vengeance plus sore throat and temperature. She coughed so much last night she vomited.

'is there a virus going around at the moment?

Don't you think this is a bit of a silly question on an international site? Even if it was UK only, do you think someone having a virus in say Belfast means anything if you're in Surrey or Yorkshire?

Yes, there are always "bugs" going around. That's how illness works.

I was really ill over Christmas ended up in A&E with breathing difficulties. It took forever to go even with antibiotics. Then last week I started coughing for Britain head and temperature .

I think I'm more of less recovered but still have an occasional bought of coughing.

I've had to put off an important blood test because of it.

Whole family have been down with the same this week.

It’s been awful. I only had one night of vomiting but I’ve been wiped out by it for days. I’m exhausted.

My 2 year old was the first to come down with it, then the two older ones and me and now dh.

It’s bloody horrible. It’s half term here and we haven’t been out of the house since my 2 year old came down with it on Saturday!
