Help with rash

Was getting dc (3) ready for bed tonight and on her shoulder there was this rash, one spot on her neck and two on her tummy. They disappear with the glass test, are flat and not itchy. It doesn’t seem to match any on the NHS! Dc has had chicken pox before and they’re not blistery or rough / can anyone help? We’re stumped!!

They are in a line.
Bed bugs come to mind.

Thank you, I’ll double check her bed but I look regularly (few times a week) as the thought make my skin crawl. Would it take this long to appear, they weren’t there this morning.

They can be easily missed. They are tiny and don’t just live in beds. They can live in the joins of a dresser, the zip seam of a suitcase, anywhere. If you’ve been away anywhere or stayed anywhere else she could have been bitten there or carried them back from there.
I hope I’m wrong, but they are distinct lines of bites. I’ve only been bitten on one occasion when staying in a hotel, they are the itchiest bites I’ve ever had in my life!

She does go to nursery and mil’s house but doesn’t stay overnight anywhere but I’ll be checking everything in our house tonight, especially her bedroom. Me and DH don’t have any bites at all so it’s looking like maybe she’s got the bites from somewhere else if it is bedbugs

They do look like insect bites rather than a rash.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be bed bugs, it could just be one rogue insect that got under her top… hopefully it’s an isolated incident.

There’s been no more bites but I completely sprayed her room, mattress, furniture and carpet (as per the instructions on the bottle!) with some pesticide for killing bedbugs and other household crawlies. There are no signs of bedbugs at all but better safe than sorry especially when they’re so good at hiding. Fingers crossed there’s no more bites
