In A&E, any company and a hand holds please?

I came to A&E with chest pains/heavy chest, hot and sweaty and felt weak. They did my blood pressure and ECG which both came back fine and now have to wait 6 hours to see a Doctor. I'm hoping it's nothing serious as my vitals came back ok. Would just be grateful for any company ❤️❤️

I don't know if this will help as I'm no therapist obviously but try and see the V word as a good thing. If it happens it's getting sickness out of you and keeping your body healthy. Probably not helpful at all sorry.

Thanks for this. I guess the problem is a phobia isnt rational 😭

I'm glad your partner is supportive. Great news about the referral... if you feel like you can't cope can you be signed off work for a week maybe too? Have you had your thyroid results back yet?

@Orla32 I'm still waiting for the results. The doctor is so lovely though; he's just walked past and said my bloods are still processing but won't be long.
I know this about fears/phobias so not sure why I suggested it sorry🙈. Have you had therapy?

Makes such a difference having a nice/understanding doctor!! Hopefully the results are back soon.
