Am I supposed to be menopausal? How will I know?

I’m turning 46 soon and the only difference is that I feel a lot more tired while doing a lot less - but it could be lazyness, I’m usually low in motivation in the colder / grey months.

Other than that I had a mysterious eczema flare up, now under control. Blood and everything else fine a part from Vit D which I’m taking now.

Ah and I put some weight on but I was actually too skiny before so I’m not that bothered and don’t think I’m losing control.

How would I know if I need treatment?

Haha - I forgot to mention in case anyone thought my older post was smug and that I’d got off easily - I have raging periodontal disease that the dentist has attributed to meno - have lost 8 teeth in about 18 months and now wear partials 😩

I’m 45 and still take COCP which I take continuously. I’ve noticed that a few years ago I would get breakthrough bleeds every now and again. That no longer happens but I don’t know if it’s due to just taking it continuously for so long or because of what’s going on for my own body.

I do get occasional days where I feel a crushing darkness, just as a pp described, as though I’ve experienced something awful, which I now can’t remember and I’m grieving/crying as a response.
