Burnt plastic in microwave

i do have ocd so I'm just trying to see other peoples opinions on what is best to do
i was microwaving one of those chocolate filled crepes in the package in the microwave and accidentally left it in there for a few seconds too long (literally it was meant to go in for 7 seconds and I left it about 15!) and the plastic wrap had a big burned hole in it and there was a fair bit of smoke coming off it though I'm not sure if the smoke was from the burned pancake or the plastic probably both.
now I'm really paranoid about the fumes from the burned plastic, are they dangerous?? I aired out the flat but is the microwave safe to still use? No plastic melted onto the microwave so if I wipe out the inside will it be ok?
could toxic.. stuff have gotten all over the kitchen from this or is it fine?
my brain is telling me to throw away everything that was in the kitchen but I'm sure that can't be right!

The microwave will be fine but I would never microwave pancakes in the llastic

*plastic

It is steam, the plastic expands and pops.

The instructions said to microwave them in the plastic I did think it was a bit odd
it wasn't steam I don't think- the pancake completely burnt and the plastic had a melted burned hole in it

Dd has those sometimes and the plastic always perforates

Microwave will be fine.

I suspected you were going to ask about still eating the pancake - and I probably would - just cutting away the bit close to the melted plastic BUT I wouldn't necessarily advise others to.
