Paying a teenager to feed the cats

Going away for a few of days, nextdoor neighbour's daughter is going to feed our cats. I'd like to pay her (if it was an adult neighbour I'd probably give them a bottle of wine and/or chocolates depending on how many days, but can't buy a seventeen year old wine and I'm not sure if chocolate gesture would be appreciated particularly?) It's only a five minute job to empty a pouch and top up their biscuits, but twice a day from Thursday to Sunday - and obviously a massive help to us. What would be reasonable to pay her do people think?

Definitely cash

I can only say what I pay.
My adult child, a tenner a day to feed cat, change litter, be around for an hour or so plus I buy a gift from wherever I went to the value of around twenty quid.

A professional, who I require when my adult child cannot do it. A tenner per visit, so say three visits a day is £30 per day. No gifts. If I would like the professional to stay a while and interact with my cat, it's more like £15 per visit.

I'd say if you might like them to do this again because they were good at it, pay a decent amount.

£5 a day seems reasonable. My children do this for a few friends and relatives, they love cats and would probably do it for kitty cuddles, but it nice to have a bit of extra cash.

Let’s be honest realistically it’s not 2 minutes to put shoes on lock their house up, walk to yours, unlock, clean cat bowls, feed cats, lock up again and walk back! And they are going to have to plan their day around the visits. Presumably it would be good if they saw the cats and checked on them at some point? Otherwise why not just leave dry food or a timer down and they wouldn’t have to go
in twice a day? I think £20 is the minimum you should pay and that’s on the stingy side, £30 would be better

I pay £5 a day for local teen to do ours when we are away.

my Y10 teen gets £40 a month allowance, so £5 isn’t to be sniffed at for her!

This teen lives next door, she's going to pop in, squeeze some food into a bowl then leave, for 4 days. I think £10 or £15 is very easy money earnt. I paid my neighbours son similar with some sweets added and he was chuffed .

£3-£5 per visit, depending on their age, where you live and whether they're also scooping litter etc.
Four days = eight visits = £25 to £40
Still much cheaper than paying a professional.

Last summer we paid 5 quid a day for friends teen they only need one visit, biscuits topped up 2 sachets in a bowl and check water.
A local cat sitter person was charging 5/6 per visit so I thought that was fair. I left the cash for them.
