Uniqlo saying they didn't receive all the items in my return

So I returned two items out of my order - a sweatshirt and a lounge set.

I received a refund for the sweatshirt but not the lounge set, so I emailed them and they are basically denying that they received the lunge set but obviously they did because it was all packaged up together!

They keep replying on email like a broken record that they didn't receive it and I keep saying that they did.

What can I do?? It was worth £35 and I'm not letting it go!

I had this with Esprit a few years ago. I thought there was nothing to be done because of course I didn't take pictures of what I sent back in the parcel or anything. I decided I wasn't going to be able to prove anything and I just had to never shop with them again.

Not uniqlo, but I bought a cat tree and a cat toy from Wayfair. My cats damaged both in 5 days, I sent them pics and got full refund immediately. They didn’t even ask me to send the items back.

Update! They have replied to my latest email and agreed to give me a refund. Pleased with the outcome but won't be ordering from them again!

Oh brilliant! Bet they found it after all 😏

Good news op!

Also my refund came a couple of hours after I posted. Still I won't order online again as it's too long winded for returns.

I did - I will try this Avenue thank you!

Definitely go through PayPal - I had an issue twice (4 years apart) with retailers denying receiving returns and both times I went to PayPal, provided the proof I’d returned the items and, in both cases, they wrote to the retailers (John Lewis and New Look) and asked for their response. John Lewis never replied so, after 12 days waiting, PayPal refunded the whole order; New Look acknowledged receiving 1 of 2 parcels but not the other (funny they received the parcel with 1 item worth £15 but not the other with more things in and valued over £100!) but, as I gave the reference from the drop off, New Look refunded me through PayPal.

Now I always use PayPal to order clothes especially if there’s a chance things might need to go back; it doesn’t cost me anything but I get the added protection and PayPal do the chasing if needed!!

Oops missed your update before posting - but still say go through PayPal if it ever happens again!

Did you get a resolution on this? I am having the same issue but for £85 worth of stuff.
