Small kids and PR successes

What rebranding and PR successes have you had with your kids? Asking so I can shamelessly steal your ideas!

Tonight I had a good one with my child who refuses to eat cheese, I gave her a dairy Lee triangle for the first time and just told her it was called a “triangle” and she happily ate it, declaring it as delicious. If I had mentioned the word cheese she wouldn’t have gone near it.

another is that when she says she doesn’t want
dinner I say “ok I’ll just give you a big snack then”. I then plate up her dinner as per normal but just dont
use the word dinner. She will happily eat a “big snack” of sausage, mash and veg; or lasagne; or whatever it is for dinner that night 😂

please share any similar tactics you have so I can shamelessly steal them!

When my cousin was little he wouldn't ear chicken but was more than happy with poultry. Similarly no broccoli but little trees were great.

My son used to love veg soup and then turned 3 and hated it, I used to pretend to put ketchup on it and all of a sudden it was eatable again bloody ketchup he is now 16 and has it on everything 😩

Dd hates cheese on toast, but loves special pizza toast without tomato sauce...

Hates a cheese toastie, but will demolish a grilled cheese...

Honey chips are a favourite here- no one likes roast parsnips though. Youngest likes yellow peas and pink chicken (salmon) too.

We had green peas, yellow peas (sweetcorn), brown peas (maltesers - I cannot begin to explain how long it look to work out WTF was being screamed at me) and red peas (beans).

Golden syrup was golden ketchup, mayonnaise was white ketchup. Everything came with some colour of ketchup on it at one point.

DC4 hated sandwiches but would eat "dinosaur bread" ie sandwich cut with a dinosaur cookie cutter.

Homemade chicken soup became rattlesnake stew, and instantly much more delicious
