I want you so I can make an amigurumi cucumber - you're the best colour I have for it, otherwise the cucumber will be bright green.

You're not in with my yarn stash(es) scattered about the place, not with any other crafty things, not in with dd1's yarn and hooks, not in with the yarn for the blanket I'm making.

St. Anthony's a good shout too. Things do turn up in the randomest places after asking for assistance! I once completely lost a ring that I'd taken off in the kitchen - hunted high & low. Prayed to St. Anthony & nothing...until the day we moved from that house. It was right in the middle of the living room carpet (I promise I had hoovered many times since then 🤣)

Where do you put things to make sure that errant crafting offspring don't take a fancy to them? From a standing position, say to yourself 'No, you can't have this, I need it' and let your muscle memory take you to that location.

Well, I have just found the missing yarn...in one of those bags you suck the air out of with the hoover, with its yarny friends 🙈 Not at all where I thought it should be!
