How much do YOU pack for a week away

In April were going away for 7 days in a self catering lodge in England, theres a laundrette onsite but I do not wish to do washing whilst there.
We have a tiny car and roof box we are a family of 4 2 adults 2 young kids 9+6 and a big dog who is coming with us. I really don't want to over pack which I always do
So what realistically do you take for 7 days
Do you take exactly 7 sets of clothes for example ?

Tbh I try and take as little as possible. I have a very small day to day wardrobe at home, so even if I took that, it'd fit in a weekend bag.

Trousers
Wear a pair
Take two extra pairs

Tops
4 vests
4 tshirts
A cardigan
A shirt

Underwear
Enough knickers for two weeks (fresh pair for bed)
7 pairs of socks

Shoes
Wear trainers
Take a pair of sandals

One daybag
One backpack
Swimsuit
Towel
Coat or jacket
Scarf if not summer

Then for the kids, same again.

As little as possible.

In your case with no washing wanted, I would pack 7 T-shirts and underwear for everyone. But things like jumpers and trousers, pjs less, depending on how filthy your kids get. 2-4 pairs

Theres dh, myself and 2 year old and we always pack in just one medium case between us. If 2-3 weeks will just wash stuff as needed

A lot would depend on the activities you are doing and the weather forecast etc. If you. Also are your kids the kind who keep there clothes clean or are they likely to get ice cream all over themselves or get travel sick etc.

Not much or as little as I can get away with.

I know you say you don't want to do washing and that's fair enough but if I know there's laundry facilities I always take that as licence to pack half as much clothes-wise (still pack underwear etc as you never know) and just do one wash mid week.

Oh yer that's something I didn't think about and yes they get travel sickness

But if there is washing facilities then I would just use that in the case of travel sickness mess. You won’t want 1 week old vomit clothing anyway.

Very little. Clean knickers. Jeans, tops makeup
