What can I bake with half a tub of biscoff spread?

I made a cheesecake with it, so don't want to do another.

I won't use it as a spread.

Any ideas what I can do with it?

Use it in a rocky road type of thing?

JorisBonson · 13/02/2023 18:34

The only thing you need right now is a spoon

LakeTiticaca · 13/02/2023 18:35

Just eat it from the jar 😉

WishingIWasOnHoliday · 13/02/2023 18:36

I saw someone do one of those Christmas tree twist things with biscoff (Ive done it before with Nutella) which might be nice.

Maybe biscoff cookies?

My kids eat it with a spoon...🙄

Came on to say this lol

Luckydog7 · 13/02/2023 18:38

I bake it into flapjacks. Just add two big tablespoons to your usual recipe. Can give you mine if you like?

SummerHouse · 13/02/2023 18:38

I was just here to say cheesecake....

We use it as pancake filler. And in sandwiches.

TulipTeeth · 13/02/2023 18:39

There was a lovely recipe on here once that i tried. Roll out pre-made puff pastry, cover with biscoff spread, top with thinly sliced apples, thin sprinkle of brown sugar and bake. Makes a lovely, easy dessert.

doadeer · 13/02/2023 18:39

It's lovely in yoghurt or porridge

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 13/02/2023 18:39

Why would you waste baking it. Concur with all the other spoon suggesters!

WinterFoxes · 13/02/2023 18:39

Treacle tarts? Toast some white bread and then turn it into breadcrumbs. Stir that into the biscoff spread (which tastes nice but is too sweet anyway so this lightens the flavour.)
Ready made short crust pastry, cut into circles in a jam tart tray with a dollop of mixture. Bake for about 10-15 mins.

Bobbydazzla · 13/02/2023 18:40

Eat it from the jar with your fingers never done that before oh no not I

ArcaneWireless · 13/02/2023 18:41

Incorporate it into a pecan maple pastry twist.

Or spoon.

ZeroFuchsGiven · 13/02/2023 18:43

@Luckydog7 I’d be interested in your flapjack recipe even if OP isn’t.

whoruntheworldgirls · 13/02/2023 18:47

I eat it with a spoon 😂

IWineAndDontDine · 13/02/2023 18:48

Brownies. Normal recipe, melt some biscoff so it's runny ish, blob loads on top then swirl through

Luckydog7 · 13/02/2023 20:09

@SBAM
Ok my simple recipe, use an ordinary standard mug (not an american cup)

heat oven to 180
line a square 20x20cm ish tin or something of equivalent size

2 mugs rolled oats
half a mug of flour
half a mug of sugar
put in bowl

melt together
150g of butter
2 very generous tablespoons of golden syrup
(add biscoff here if desired)

When melted turn off the heat and add two flat tsp baking powder, it should foam up lovely.

Add to the dry ingredients and stir well. At this point you can add any other ingredients. Choc chips, raisin etc.

Tip into your baking tin and lightly spread out with a fork to make it even.

Cook for about 15mins. Should be mid golden brown, allow to cool etc.
