11 year olds - party bags?

Do 11 year old girls still expect party bags? We'll be doing pizza and film- am I supposed to try and theme match to the film? Or generic? Or are they too old now?

(No boys will be there.)

my just turned 11 - we went to Tiger stores and she chose pens and mini stationery kits for the 4 friends coming to her party.

even for the younger one we have been doing things like activity books, stickers, pens or notebooks...

I did party bags for 11yo dd's last birthday and they were well recieved, and the dc didn't seem to think there weird about getting a party bag at that age.

They had the usual sweets, plus a tiny cat notebook and pen, a bracelet, a fidget toy and a tiny body spray. We were driving the kids to a party venue, so it helped to keep them busy in the car.

A highlighter, a pen, a pencil, sharpener, ruler, rubber, sweets and a slice of cake. Useful and not that.

I bought a few cheap plain cotton bags and some felt tips for fabric when dd was 11. Each girl decorated a bag which they took home. Kept them entertained and a useful keepsake

DD has opted for face and eye masks. Would you be happy with your 10-11 year old having coloured lip balm like these? Both links from Boots.

Or are they too young and you'd rather they have one which doesn't leave a colour?

I’d have no issue at all with those OP, they are lovely.
