Had an interview today (currently unemployed so really need this) on Zoom, as all my interviews are now.
The interview was with HR. It went well and she asked if I could do a second interview with the line manager later that day. She sent the invitation to him and said he'd accepted.
I quickly prep for this second interview feeling very pleased and excited.
I log in...no one else joins. After 10 minutes I send a polite email to the line manager saying I'm in the meeting.
After 15 minutes I email HR, explain the situation and that I'm logging out and would love to reschedule.
After another 90 minutes I get a not very apologetic or warm email from the line manager saying there has been a mix up and he wasn't available but would ask HR to reschedule.
I replied to say these things happen and attached updated version of my CV since I applied.
This was all a couple of hours ago. No response back and no rescheduled interview time.
It's for a senior role.
It's put me off a bit...do you think I'm being oversensitive?
