Most passive aggressive "friendly" comments?

Is it just me or do other people want to tear their own eyes out when certain phrases are used. My personal bug bear is "a gentle reminder"... usually sent from school or similar when it's very obvious that parents have been doing whatever it is that school doesn't like 50000 times and now school is pissed! Local store often puts it on their facebook page when they want to tell people they've changed their hours or don't allow dogs.

Just be honest and or polite but firm, "Please note that we cannot give your child a school dinner if it hasn't been ordered by 13:00 the day before". Or "Please can all our customers remember that we do not allow dogs"

What are yours?

”Per my last email”

Might as well just say “can’t you fucking read?”

I have a friend who starts every conversation "are you all right?" in a very concerned tone of voice. It's just her version of "how are you?" but it always makes me think I must have been in a terrible accident or suffered an awful misfortune and haven't realised.

Oh yes! Although, I think I use that one myself. Except I don't know that I think of it as passive aggressive so much as blatantly aggressive! Grin

'You've lost too much weight, it doesn't suit you.' Favourite of a colleague who was forever dieting. I reckoned that when she came out with that I'd got my weight about right.
