OP being as you're currently in a hospital, did you not think it would be wise to ask a medical professional this question?

As you’re currently on this thread, did you not think to read the OP properly and engage your brain before posting? She’s waiting to be seen.

People saying a&e isn't appropriate- it actually is according to poison controls online tool presuming it's something like dettol anti-bac surface cleaner.
Google 'poison control online tool' it's very useful

Honestly? Kick up a fuss and get the attention of a passing nurse or doctor and ask them. Best of luck op

The first response is literally what poisons information tells you NOT to do. Please don't follow medical advice from mn.

Tell reception she's deteriorating (which she is given she's needing to be sick) and ask if you can you speak to a nurse urgently. Sitting politely waiting like Mumsnet wants you to do won't help in these circumstances.

Hi op, I hope your daughter has recovered and she is getting the ongoing support she needs for her MH.

Hi everyone, thank you all for your help. We were seen by the nurse soon after I posted and she said it was good for DD to be sick (better out than in). However that isn't always the best option so good to get professional advice first. Although not too dangerous (unless you drank much more) it did cause a lot of discomfort. Fortunately we had cleared out the more toxic stuff as she had told her MH team that she might take some poison. DD is already getting a lot of MH support and but the hospital has referred her for more.

Glad she’s feeling better physically, and hope she feels better mentally soon.
