Help me help my dd please! She doesn't know what to get her bf for Valentines Day. They are both nearly 16. What's the normal thing?

Thornton's used to be brilliant for this kind of thing... I guess Hotel Chocolat might be an option now, or a small box of nice truffles or similar, assuming he eats chocolate? Depends on her budget too but I'm fairly sure that's the kind of small but thoughtful gift my family members about that age would opt for.

I’m sorry you are having that terrible experience but a lot of mums on here seem to get over invested in their children’s teen relationships. I did make a suggestion but obviously that’s not something he would be interested in. Maybe it would help people if you gave an idea of his interests.

@journeyofinsanity it's important to them so why not try and help them be happier. Valentine's Day is for the happy loved up teenagers, not adults, let them be happy x

I have no idea what his interests are as I'm not particularly invested 🤣. Just a nice lad. But one who spends too much on my dd. He's super cute.
