Any recommendations ?
Hard water area but we filter the water
Present kettle is a Russel Hobbs Quiet Boil and it's a complete lie , we have to pause the TV while it boils , so bloody racket making . I think it's on its way out

( Just looked on Amazon its £34 )

Looking to pay up to £80 for something long lasting , efficient and quiet .

I liked the look of the Dualit Classic (£100 on Costco ) is it worth it ?

TIA if you;ve managed through this riveting post Wink

Mine is Tesco's basics one, I would prefer a kettle that's a light up one with a fancy temperature gauge on it, but I cannot justify the ££

When DS was little the sound of a kettle boiling made him scream (he has ASD) so we did a lot of research and bought a Kitchenaid Kettle. It cost a bomb but it did the trick. I think it only lasted for eight or nine years before it broke, but by that stage DS had grown out of being bothered by the noise so we went for a Bosch instead. Still expensive, and not as quiet as the Kitchenaid but much quieter than cheaper kettles.
